Everyone has his or her own exercise routine. You may be the kind of person to go on the elliptical for 25 min and call it a day; or maybe you’re just hesitant about trying something other than your 5pm Spinning class; maybe you only focus on weight-training and toning because you think classes aren’t your thing. In any case, Body Pump classes can be extremely beneficial, even if you only go for 2 or 3 classes a week.
Most gyms offer these classes several times a day, and the reason they are so popular is because they are usually only 45-60min long, and tend to focus on all the main muscle groups, and are combined with fun upbeat music. You may feel overwhelmed at first, but most instructors are very well experienced, and will very quickly make you feel comfortable and guide you through simple moves that will allow you to warm up, and increase your heart rate. You can amp up your routine with more weights, or downplay the class by using your own body weight, either way, you are sure to feel the difference (especially the next morning as you try to get out of bed), and see results.
